Wedding boot camp is a revolutionary way for brides to receive the services of an experienced, professional wedding planner. Only Flourish offers this option to couples in the Chicagoland area.
What is Wedding Bootcamp? Flourish convenes a group of up to 10 brides to meet weekly in wedding workgroups to plan their nuptials. Each meeting lasts approximately 2 hours and is led by Georgina Tegart, owner of Flourish. Bootcamp participants are provided with a wedding workbook and planning schedule.

- Guest lists, invitation design and wording, other printed materials
- Ceremony planning and design

- Wedding flowers and décor
- Dress shopping, attendant outfits, and wedding accessories

- How to create a wedding timeline
- Reception planning
- Vendor coordination
- Blueprint preparation
Throughout the planning process bride's will use budget sheets, checklists, and timelines developed by Georgina for Flourish clients to keep them on track. |
The wedding workbook includes pocket folders to hold contracts, menus, and notes, a business-card holder, pouches for fabric swatches and paper samples, and sturdy pages for brides to create their own “idea” file of magazine clippings and web site printouts.
It is a participatory planning experience, where brides share ideas and resources with each other, while receiving information and advice from a wedding planner. Couples taking part in Wedding Bootcamp will have full access to Flourish's vendor information research and Georgina will help match them to wedding vendors across Chicago.
The cost of a 4 week Wedding Bootcamp is $399. The total time spent in consultation with Georgina is 16+ hours, making this a cost effective and enjoyable way for couples to obtain information, get vendor referrals and professional help planning their wedding.
