| Flourish was founded in 2004 by wedding planner Georgina Tegart, a Brit. She has been involved in planning special events since her first job at a London-based accounting firm organizing seminars and international meetings. She honed her skills working for a charity in event management, fundraising, and development, before moving permanently to the U.S. in 1996. She graduated with honors from the University of Wisconsin-Madison and moved to Chicago , which is now her adopted hometown. Before starting Flourish, Georgina worked as the Chief Operating Officer for a medium sized organization, managing the human resources, information technology, and general business functions. |

| In her spare time, she advanced her creative skills, working in a floral design studio, taking catering classes, planning special events, and throwing fabulous parties for her family and friends. Flourish allows her to meld her artistic and practical sides.
